OnTheWay is a modern-jazz quintet of musicians with international roots. The band came together right on stage: from the very first tune at a jam session in Frankfurt the energy was unmistakable, and out of that moment the five of them formed the band.
What matters to all five: to be fully present in every moment the music happens. All five live on stage, and that attitude carries straight over to their music and to the audience.
The members’ different backgrounds are a gift. Each brings the character of their own culture: German, African, Bulgarian and Ukrainian influences meet and fuse into a sound of their own.
